Role & Responsibilities

To coordinate and also to upgrade police treatment of the juveniles/children.

To exercise power and follow guidelines as laid down in POCSO and J.J. Act 2015, meticulously.

Training and sensitization of police officers.

To coordinate with stake holders.

Seek assistance of NGOs.

Compile reports of Children/Juveniles- apprehended.

Organize regular training to enable CPWOs & other police personnel to deals with the cases of Juvenile.

To ensure proper implementation of all directions passed by Hon’ble Supreme Court & Hon’ble Delhi High Court of Delhi related to juvenile.

In order to make all Police Stations Child Friendly, a separate Room/Corner is established in all Police Stations.
